Role Overview
The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for driving profitable global growth through paid acquisition, with a primary focus on Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
This is a commercially driven, media-buying-led role. The successful candidate will own campaign strategy, budget allocation, optimisation and scaling, ensuring disciplined testing frameworks and sustainable, profitable growth.
While creative collaboration forms part of the remit, primary accountability sits with campaign performance, efficiency, and revenue contribution.

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Paid Media Strategy & Campaign Management (Primary Focus)
- Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
- Own budget allocation and scaling decisions to maximise revenue while maintaining profitability targets
- Develop structured testing frameworks across audiences, placements, bidding strategies and creative variables
- Execute disciplined A/B testing across campaigns and ad sets
- Monitor performance daily and make data-led optimisation decisions
- Scale winning campaigns efficiently while controlling CPA and maintaining ROAS targets
- Manage campaign structure, tracking integrity and attribution accuracy
- Ensure alignment between paid media strategy, funnel stages and overall commercial objectives
- Performance Analysis & Optimisation
- Analyse key metrics including ROAS, CPA, CTR, CVR, MER and contribution margin
- Identify opportunities to scale, stabilise or reduce spend based on performance trends
- Produce clear, data-driven performance reports and strategic recommendations
- Maintain structured testing documentation and learning logs to inform future strategy
- Continuously refine acquisition efficiency and contribution to customer lifetime value
- Creative & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Provide performance-led feedback to creative stakeholders based on data insights
- Identify creative performance gaps and recommend structured testing directions
- Ensure paid creative aligns with target audiences, offers and funnel stages
- Collaborate closely with ecommerce and broader performance teams to align paid strategy with commercial objectives
- Market & Platform Intelligence
- Stay current with Meta platform developments, advertising policies and evolving best practices
- Monitor competitor activity and broader industry trends
- Identify new audience, placement and scaling opportunities to support growth
Measures of Success
Success in this role will be measured by the ability to:
- Scale paid acquisition profitably and sustainably, increasing revenue while maintaining or improving contribution margins
- Consistently improve efficiency metrics over time, including CPA, ROAS, MER and blended acquisition performance
- Build and maintain disciplined testing frameworks with clear hypotheses, structured experimentation and documented learnings
- Improve creative performance through data-led iteration, increasing CTR, hook rate and overall ad effectiveness
- Identify and capitalise on scaling opportunities without compromising efficiency or brand positioning
- Demonstrate strong commercial judgement in budget allocation, spend pacing and campaign direction
- Contribute meaningfully to global revenue growth, positioning paid media as a reliable and scalable growth engine
- Operate with full ownership and accountability, proactively identifying risks and opportunities within the paid channel
REQUIREMENTS +
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years leading paid acquisition within a high-growth DTC e-commerce environment, ideally within fashion or apparel
- Demonstrated experience managing and scaling significant Meta ad spend with clear commercial accountability
- Proven track record of driving profitable growth, not solely top-line revenue
- Strong understanding of attribution models, budget allocation, scaling mechanics and performance forecasting
- Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data quickly and make decisive optimisation decisions
- Commercially astute, with a strong grasp of contribution margin, customer acquisition cost and revenue efficiency
- Experience operating within fast-paced, performance-driven e-commerce environments
- High standards of ownership, accountability and execution
