The Senior Performance Manager is a leadership role within the Digital Marketing team, reporting to the CMO and driving the performance strategy across paid, social, and search channels. This position is accountable for accelerating growth through data-driven performance marketing, customer acquisition, and ROI optimisation. Leading a team of four digital specialists, the Senior Performance Manager will unify performance initiatives to maximise traffic, conversions, and revenue contribution in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

Role Purpose

This role focuses on delivering measurable business outcomes through high-impact digital performance strategies. You will design and execute campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention, optimise media efficiency, and improve digital contribution to overall business growth. By leveraging advanced analytics and performance insights, you will guide strategic decision-making and continuous optimisation across all performance channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES +

  • Digital Performance Strategy
  • Develop and execute high-performance digital strategies across paid media, search, and social channels.
  • Optimise channel mix and budget allocation to maximise ROAS and revenue growth.
  • Build and forecast media plans aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Campaign Execution & Optimisation
  • Lead end-to-end performance campaign planning, execution, and optimisation.
  • Use A/B testing, audience segmentation, and data-driven insights to improve conversion outcomes.
  • Drive PPC and paid acquisition strategies to increase traffic and customer growth.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution to ensure campaign alignment and timely delivery.
  • Analytics & Performance Insights
  • Utilise Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, and Looker Studio to track and optimise KPIs.
  • Create dashboards and performance reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Translate complex data into strategic recommendations that enhance marketing efficiency.
  • Customer Acquisition & Lifecycle Integration
  • Implement data-led audience strategies to drive acquisition and lifecycle engagement.
  • Collaborate with CRM teams to align acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Optimise retargeting and segmentation initiatives for improved customer value.
  • Stakeholder & Agency Collaboration
  • Partner with eCommerce and trading teams to align performance campaigns with commercial objectives.
  • Manage relationships with agencies and technology vendors to scale performance outcomes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for performance marketing strategy and insights.
  • Budget & ROI Management
  • Manage performance marketing budgets with a focus on ROAS and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor spend and reallocate resources based on campaign performance.
  • Provide financial reporting and variance analysis to stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a team of digital specialists to drive execution excellence.
  • Establish performance goals and development plans to build capability.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with data privacy and regulatory standards.
  • Implement best practices for tracking, pixel management, and data security.

REQUIREMENTS +

  • Essential
  • 5+ years’ experience in digital performance marketing.
  • Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong expertise in paid media, search, and ecommerce performance strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in analytics platforms and performance reporting.
  • Data-driven decision-making and commercial acumen.
  • Desirable
  • Experience in fashion, retail, or ecommerce environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Expertise in Martech and marketing automation tools.
