VISUAL MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST | BAGS & ACCESSORIES | SYDNEY
Our client is an Australian household name known for their bags, accessories, and leather goods. With over 250+ stores nationwide, they are looking for an experienced Visual Merchandising Specialist to join their team and work closely with the Head of VM.
The VM Specialist owns the end-to-end execution of category strategies within their remit. This role plays a key part in shaping visual messaging systems, maintaining brand consistency across platforms, and delivering monthly VM updates to support flawless in-store execution.
Location: Head Office in Sydney, 1 day WFH
Salary: $90k - $100k + super + generous discounts and additional leave

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Deliver category-specific brand guidelines that reflect core principles and visual messaging systems.
- Support the development of seasonal training content, window concepts, and front-of-store displays aligned to key brand moments.
- Collaborate with creative teams to source and deliver assets that bring seasonal initiatives to life.
- Partner with Buyers, Planners, Field VM, and Retail teams to support category strategies, trade opportunities, and commercial integrity.
- Participate in seasonal walkthroughs and presentations, ensuring cohesive execution and alignment to brand standards.
REQUIREMENTS +
- Relevant qualification in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Marketing, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2–3 years’ experience in visual merchandising, retail design, or a similar role, with a proven ability to execute VM strategies.
- Strong creative and technical skill set, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, planograms, and VM execution tools.
- Commercially minded with the ability to interpret sales data, understand customer behaviour, and respond to retail trends.
- Highly organised, collaborative, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
