JUNIOR GARMENT TECH | LUXURY FASHION


As a Junior Garment Tech you will be responsible for working with garments across multiple product areas from Proto, SMS to final Production approval, ensuring the highest quality standards are followed and achieved throughout all sampling and production.

You'll work with my client, a luxury womenswear brand known for their modern designs. This brand is well established and still growing, with exciting projects and growth overseas!

A snippet of what you'll do:

This role contributes to the initial design process in close collaboration with the Design team, providing input on materials, trims, construction methods, and development timelines. It is responsible for Tech Pack specifications, ensuring optimal garment construction, fit, and quality while coordinating input from Designers, Product Developers. The role supports proto, SMS, PPS, and shipper measurements and fit processes, manages fit meetings, and drives timely communication across internal teams and offshore suppliers. It plays a key role in vendor handovers, bulk and final QC approvals, grading consistency across seasons, and production readiness, identifying and resolving potential quality or production issues prior to bulk. Ongoing responsibilities include range reviews to improve future collections, approving care label artwork, supporting online measurement requirements, and ensuring all pre-production and final approvals are completed accurately and on time prior to shipping.

• Ownership of garment fit, measurements, and quality from design through to final QC
• Tech Pack leadership and cross-functional collaboration with Design, Product, and Supply Chain teams
• Management of supplier communication, fit meetings, and production readiness
• Ensuring consistency in grading, sizing, and fit across seasons and suppliers
• Driving timelines, approvals, and on-time delivery across all pre-production stages

Requirements:

  • Experience in Garment tech, technical design or product development highly regarded.

  • Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, grading and fits.

  • Proven experience managing detailed tech packs from design to production.

  • Understanding of Production timelines.

  • Be collaborative and work closely with Design, Development, Supply Chain teams.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

  • High attention to detail.
