Our client, a leading name in Australian retail, is seeking a Visual Merchandise Manager to bring creativity, structure, and impact to their growing store network. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire customers, shape store experiences, and influence sales performance through world-class visual merchandising execution.
The Role
Reporting to the State Manager, you’ll be responsible for elevating the in-store experience across new and existing locations. From store openings and seasonal launches to training and development of store teams, you’ll ensure that visual merchandising strategies are flawlessly executed and tailored to local customer needs.
Your focus will be split across:
Store Projects (20%) – leading openings, refits, relocations, and closures.
Execution (40%) – ensuring new collections and campaigns are delivered with maximum impact.
Education (40%) – coaching store teams, lifting VM capability, and embedding standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver innovative visual merchandising concepts that drive traffic, conversion, and sales.
Attend and lead visual execution for store openings, refits, and events.
Partner with Regional Leaders and State VM Manager to implement strategies that align with brand identity and local market needs.
Provide regular coaching and training to store teams, ensuring strong VM standards across the network.
Monitor store performance, providing insights and feedback to improve execution.
Ensure marketing collateral, seasonal campaigns, and brand initiatives (Shop the Look, First Wear) are consistently delivered.
About You
Experience in visual merchandising within a multi-site retail environment.
Strong eye for detail and ability to bring brand stories to life in-store.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Strong communicator who can engage, coach, and inspire retail teams.
Results-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused.
