The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for a Production Assistant & Product Developer to join the growing team. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and execution—supporting the design process, coordinating production, and helping turn big ideas into high-quality products. The successful candidate will be hands-on, agile, detail-driven, and motivated by the fast-paced world of global fashion and merchandise.
Key Responsibilities
Production Coordination
Assist in managing the production process from concept to sampling and final delivery.
Create detailed tech packs across multiple categories quickly and accurately.
Liaise with the China-based operations team to keep production timelines on track.
Monitor key milestones to ensure smooth delivery and execution.
Quality Control
Perform quality checks on materials, samples, and finished goods.
Identify, report, and help resolve production or quality issues.
Product Development
Support the product development team in generating new concepts and designs.
Research trends, consumer insights, and market competitors.
Help bring client and in-house creative visions to life.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records for samples, production, costings, and logistics.
Assist with pricing and budgeting across development and production stages.
Logistics & Inventory
Coordinate shipping and logistics for samples and bulk orders.
Support inventory tracking and materials management as needed.
Key Requirements
2+ years of experience in a production or product development role within fashion or merchandise.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office.
Strong knowledge of the production lifecycle—from materials sourcing to manufacturing and delivery.
Creative sensibility and an interest in trends, design, and branding.
High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Effective communication skills—both locally and across cultures/time zones.
A collaborative approach and proactive problem-solving mindset.
