RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Accounts Management: Oversee invoices, payments, and reconciliations (Bank, PayPal, Shopify), ensuring accuracy and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Reporting & Compliance: Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, including journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, BAS, FBT, and fixed asset register maintenance.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP/AR processes and handle multi-currency and foreign exchange transactions.
- Financial Process Improvement: Contribute to refining financial systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll, superannuation, payroll tax, commissions, and manage leave liabilities and related reporting.
- HR Support: Draft contracts, maintain HR records, assist with onboarding, reviews, and monitor staff leave entitlements.
REQUIREMENTS +
- Experience in finance, accounts, or coordination roles.
- Exposure to fashion, retail, or creative industries.
- Proficient in Excel and Xero, and experience with Harmony is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable in small, agile teams.
- Finance-related qualifications desirable; full Australian working rights required.
