SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER | ACTIVEWEAR


We’re partnering with a high-growth activewear brand that lives and breathes fitness, community, and culture to find a Social Media Manager who can lead, create, and elevate their social presence across all platforms.

This is a hands-on leadership role where strategy meets execution. You’ll own the social media direction end-to-end, driving content strategy, leading day-to-day execution, and ensuring the brand shows up consistently and powerfully across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.

You’ll be both a strategic thinker and a content doer, comfortable shaping big-picture direction while also jumping in to capture content, feature on camera, and bring ideas to life in real time.

Working closely with the wider marketing team, you’ll ensure social is fully aligned with campaign calendars, product drops, and brand initiatives, turning business goals into engaging, platform-native content that drives real results.

RESPONSIBILITIES +

  • You’ll lead the social media strategy from concept through to execution, building content plans that grow brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive traffic to site.
  • You’ll oversee the full content ecosystem, planning, creating, and publishing content while ensuring everything aligns with brand tone, visual identity, and campaign direction.
  • You’ll be confident behind and in front of the camera, capturing behind-the-scenes content at shoots, events, and activations, and leading internal participation in organic content creation.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and performance marketers to ensure every piece of content is visually strong, strategically aligned, and built to perform.
  • On top of this, you’ll manage and mentor junior team members, providing clear direction, feedback, and support to help them grow while ensuring output stays high quality and on schedule.
  • You’ll also own reporting and analytics across all social channels, using insights to continuously optimise performance and shape future content decisions.

REQUIREMENTS +

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Social Media Manager (or similar) role
  • Proven success growing and managing Instagram and TikTok accounts
  • Strong content creation, writing, and communication skills
  • Confident appearing on camera and directing content on set
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
  • Strong understanding of social trends, platform behaviours, and content performance
  • Comfortable working with analytics tools (Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and creatively driven mindset
  • Experience working with content planning and scheduling tools
