The Role
As Lead Designer, you’ll oversee the end-to-end design process from seasonal concept creation through to final product execution. You’ll drive trend direction, range development, and design strategy while ensuring collections remain innovative, brand-aligned, and commercially relevant.
Working closely with Product, Buying, and Leadership teams, you’ll ensure product resonates with customers and supports broader business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Lead the creative direction and seasonal design strategy across key categories
- Develop innovative, commercially strong collections aligned to brand DNA
- Drive trend forecasting, colour direction, fabric selection, and product development
- Mentor and inspire the design team, fostering creativity and collaboration
- Ensure collections balance customer demand, trend relevance, and commercial outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Production teams
- Oversee fit, fabrication, and final product approvals to maintain quality standards
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
REQUIREMENTS +
- Proven experience in a Senior Designer or Lead Designer role within fashion
- Strong creative vision with excellent trend forecasting capability
- Deep understanding of product development, fabrication, and garment construction
- Experience leading or mentoring design teams
- Commercial mindset with the ability to design for customer and market demand
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for product, innovation, and brand storytelling
