The Role
As Technical Developer, you’ll take ownership of the technical development process from sample through to production. You’ll ensure garments meet fit, grading, construction, and performance standards while balancing quality, functionality, and speed to market.
You’ll act as the technical expert across product categories, partnering with suppliers and internal teams to troubleshoot issues, improve fit, and maintain consistency across ranges.

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Manage the technical development process from sample through to production
- Review garment construction, fit, grading, and specifications to ensure product integrity
- Conduct fit sessions and provide clear technical feedback to suppliers
- Create and maintain accurate technical documentation and product specifications
- Work closely with offshore suppliers to resolve technical and production challenges
- Ensure products meet performance, quality, and fit standards before bulk production
- Partner with Product and Design teams to support innovation and product improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve technical processes and efficiencies
REQUIREMENTS +
- Previous experience in a Technical Developer, Garment Tech, or Technical Product role
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, grading, and technical specifications
- Experience working with offshore suppliers and production teams
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
- Experience within apparel, activewear, or performance product highly regarded
