ECOMMERCE MANAGER | SYDNEY | FULL-TIME (HYBRID AFTER TRAINING)


We’re partnering with a fast-growing global fashion brand to find an experienced ECommerce Manager to own and drive their online business performance.

This is a hands-on role focused on e-commerce strategy, platform performance, agency management, customer experience, and growth. Manage an ECommerce Coordinator, and oversee external partners to ensure the online business runs efficiently and scales globally.

The Role

You will be responsible for end-to-end e-commerce operations, ensuring the website, tech stack, and external partners are aligned to drive revenue, conversion, and long-term customer value.

RESPONSIBILITIES +

  • Own and deliver the global e-commerce strategy, online sales targets, and trading calendar
  • Lead Shopify platform operations, including site performance, UI/UX optimisation, technical improvements, and platform evolution (headless to Shopify Markets)
  • Manage and coordinate external agencies, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Oversee CRM and lifecycle marketing execution via Klaviyo (email, SMS, segmentation, automation)
  • Drive customer retention initiatives, including the rollout and management of a loyalty program
  • Analyse sales, funnel performance, and customer behaviour to identify optimisation opportunities and improve conversion, average order value, and lifetime value
  • Monitor website health, navigation, product merchandising, and technical performance, proactively resolving issues and ensuring site stability
  • Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Creative, Social, Wholesale) to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and initiatives
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting on e-commerce KPIs, site performance, and operational metrics
  • Lead and mentor an ECommerce Coordinator, providing guidance, prioritisation, and performance management
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing strategic priorities with operational execution
  • Champion process improvements, efficiency, and scalable systems across e-commerce operations

REQUIREMENTS +

  • 6–10+ years in e-commerce operations or management, ideally in fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or FMCG
  • Experience managing Shopify-based e-commerce businesses
  • Strong experience with agency and vendor management, including web development and SEO
  • Comfortable leading technical conversations around website architecture and platform updates
  • Experienced in CRM and customer lifecycle management (Klaviyo preferred)
  • Proven track record of scaling online businesses
  • Hands-on, commercial, and able to prioritise and execute multiple projects
