MERCHANDISE ALLOCATOR
We’re looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Merchandise Allocator to join a growing retail merchandising team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time, helping maximise sales and minimise markdown risk.
Working closely with the Planning team, you’ll support the execution of seasonal strategies by analysing sales trends, managing stock flow, and supporting allocation decisions across stores and online channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Allocate initial and replenishment stock to stores and/or online channels in line with sales forecasts and stock targets.
- Monitor store performance and stock levels to optimise availability and support trading decisions.
- Analyse sales, stock and intake data to inform allocation and replenishment strategies.
- Support the Planning team with weekly trade reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to buying, seasonal launches and promotional activity.
- Work closely with Distribution and Store teams to ensure smooth stock flow and delivery timelines.
- Maintain accuracy across stock systems, purchase orders and allocation tools.
- Contribute to seasonal reviews and help identify improvements for future trading.
REQUIREMENTS +
- 1–2 years’ experience in retail allocation, merchandise administration, or a similar analytical role (fashion or apparel experience preferred).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel (experience with allocation or planning systems advantageous).
- Good understanding of retail KPIs and trading performance.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Nice to Have
- Exposure to WSSI (Weekly Sales, Stock & Intake) and OTB concepts.
- Interest in fashion and retail trends.
