You’ll work closely with the buying and creative teams to shape product direction, ensuring collections are both commercially successful and supported by strong inventory planning across the business.

The Role

As Senior Planner, you’ll be responsible for leading the planning function across key product categories. You’ll use sales data, trend insights, and forecasting tools to build strategies that maximise sales potential while maintaining healthy inventory levels and margins.

Sitting at the centre of the product team, you’ll collaborate across departments to ensure product launches, stock flow, and promotional activity are aligned with the overall trading strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES +

  • Develop and implement merchandise plans to support revenue growth and margin targets
  • Use sales analysis and historical performance to forecast demand and guide inventory decisions
  • Partner with Buying to create well-balanced assortments that reflect market trends and customer demand
  • Monitor trading performance and respond quickly with adjustments to stock and replenishment strategies
  • Manage intake planning and inventory levels to ensure product availability across channels
  • Identify opportunities around pricing, promotions, and markdown strategies
  • Review performance against budgets and provide insights to support trading decisions
  • Work closely with Marketing and Creative teams to align product launches with stock availability

REQUIREMENTS +

  • 5+ years’ experience in merchandise planning within a fashion retail environment
  • Strong analytical ability with a commercially driven mindset
  • Solid understanding of retail metrics, forecasting, and inventory management
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with planning tools or systems
  • Ability to interpret data and turn insights into clear commercial actions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
