Position Title: Head of eCommerce
Location: Byron Bay, NSW (Melbourne flexible)
Reports to: Global Managing Director
About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on Head of eCommerce to lead and grow the online business for a premium active lifestyle brand. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can combine strategic thinking, commercial drive, and technical expertise to deliver results across multiple websites and markets.
You’ll lead the global eCommerce strategy, optimise platforms, manage a small team and agency partners, and own P&L accountability. The role offers global exposure and occasional travel to key markets, including the US and Europe.

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Own and execute the global eCommerce strategy across B2C and B2B channels
- Manage multiple Shopify (or similar) websites and ensure seamless customer experiences
- Lead a small in-house team and agency partners to deliver growth and operational excellence
- Optimise conversion, retention, and engagement using data, CRM, and automation
- Own eCommerce P&L, KPIs, and reporting
- Align digital operations with inventory, logistics, and customer service
REQUIREMENTS +
- 10+ years in senior eCommerce roles with global or multi-regional exposure
- Proven track record of scaling B2C and B2B eCommerce channels with measurable commercial outcomes
- Hands-on Shopify (or equivalent) experience, including optimisation and platform enhancements
- Strong understanding of digital integrations (CRM, ERP, marketing automation)
- Commercially sharp, results-driven, and comfortable with accountability
- Experience managing hybrid in-house/agency teams is essential
- Passion for sport, outdoors, and active lifestyles highly regarded
