The Production & Sourcing Manager is a senior, hands-on role responsible for delivering product on time, on margin, and to specification across all suppliers. Owning the end-to-end production critical path, this role manages factory relationships, executes sourcing and fabric strategies, and ensures consistent quality and fit across categories. Working cross-functionally with Buying, Design, Planning, and Logistics, the role plays a critical part in ensuring all styles are market-ready while reducing returns, improving technical accuracy, and driving supplier accountability. The position also leads and develops the Production & Sustainability Lead and Garment Technologist, building scalable systems and a high-performing technical function.

RESPONSIBILITIES +

  • Own the full production lifecycle and critical path, ensuring all samples, approvals, QA, testing, and bulk deliveries align with launch timelines
  • Lead supplier performance and sourcing execution, including factory communication, costings, margin support, fabric platforming, and continuous improvement
  • Drive quality standards, fit consistency, and return-rate reduction through data-led insights, root cause analysis, and technical partnership
  • Lead and develop the production and technical team, building strong processes, documentation, and scalable systems to support business growth

REQUIREMENTS +

  • 5–8 years’ experience in apparel production management, ideally within fast-paced, multi-category womenswear or DTC environments
  • Strong experience working with offshore factories (China and Vietnam essential; India or Mexico a bonus), with confidence managing timelines and negotiations
  • Excellent technical understanding of garment construction, tech packs, fit, and quality standards, paired with a commercial mindset
  • Highly organised, resilient, and solutions-focused leader who thrives under pressure, takes ownership, and partners effectively across teams
