After an internal promotion, our client is now seeking a Senior Account Manager & Product Developer to lead the menswear category for one of their major clients. This role bridges creative development and client relationship management, playing a pivotal role in turning design concepts into production-ready products while ensuring client satisfaction and timely delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES +

  • Drive end-to-end product development -from concept, technical sketches, and material sourcing through to iterative sampling, ensuring designs meet quality, aesthetic, budget, and margin goals.
  • Lead client account management -owning P&L, translating brand direction into development plans, maintaining strong relationships, and overseeing orders from sample to delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams -aligning with design, tech, merchandising, suppliers, and manufacturers to deliver collections on time and to spec.
  • Oversee operational and supply chain performance -tracking milestones, resolving production issues, and partnering with QA/QC to ensure smooth, high-quality execution.

REQUIREMENTS +

  • 5+ years’ experience in fashion account management, ideally with exposure to major retailers, with product development as part of your role.
  • Strong technical capability across apparel development, garment construction, technical sketching, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Expertise in materials - confident in fabric sourcing, performance characteristics, and cost considerations.
  • Solid supply chain understanding from sampling through to delivery, with the organisational chops to juggle multiple projects seamlessly.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to build client relationships and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-heavy environment.
