The Role
We are seeking a Junior Garment Technician to join our client’s Supply Chain and Operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every garment — from prototype through to bulk production — meets the highest standards of quality, fit, and sustainability. You’ll work closely with Design, Product Development, and vendors to keep the product lifecycle running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Design team from initial concept to final handover
Contribute to tech packs, advising on construction methods and resolving fit issues
Measure and fit Proto, SMS, PPS, and Pre-production samples, ensuring compliance to spec
Manage internal fit sessions and communicate feedback to offshore suppliers
Approve grading and ensure consistency across product categories and seasons
Support QC approvals, care labels, and online measurement requirements
Liaise cross-functionally to keep workflows aligned with the critical path
Ensure garment development aligns with the brand’s sustainability and social impact goals
About You
Early experience or studies in garment technology, product development, or fashion production
Strong understanding of garment construction, specs, patterns, and fit
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify workmanship and measurement issues
Confident communicator with both internal teams and offshore suppliers
Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple sample stages
Passion for sustainability and innovation within the fashion industry
