The Role

We are seeking a Junior Garment Technician to join our client’s Supply Chain and Operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every garment — from prototype through to bulk production — meets the highest standards of quality, fit, and sustainability. You’ll work closely with Design, Product Development, and vendors to keep the product lifecycle running seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Design team from initial concept to final handover

  • Contribute to tech packs, advising on construction methods and resolving fit issues

  • Measure and fit Proto, SMS, PPS, and Pre-production samples, ensuring compliance to spec

  • Manage internal fit sessions and communicate feedback to offshore suppliers

  • Approve grading and ensure consistency across product categories and seasons

  • Support QC approvals, care labels, and online measurement requirements

  • Liaise cross-functionally to keep workflows aligned with the critical path

  • Ensure garment development aligns with the brand’s sustainability and social impact goals

About You

  • Early experience or studies in garment technology, product development, or fashion production

  • Strong understanding of garment construction, specs, patterns, and fit

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify workmanship and measurement issues

  • Confident communicator with both internal teams and offshore suppliers

  • Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple sample stages

  • Passion for sustainability and innovation within the fashion industry
