About the Job:
In this fast-paced and hands-on role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Ops to lead the end-to-end coordination of seasonal sample collections and special projects from design concept right through to final production. You’ll be the go-to person managing design and production timelines, overseeing sampling and bulk production, and collaborating with a wide network of internal teams and external suppliers. It’s a role that combines creative coordination with strategic problem-solving, all while ensuring collections are delivered on time, on budget, and to an exceptional standard.

About You:
You’re an experienced Production Manager with 3–5 years under your belt within a Fashion business (ideally Luxury, RTW), both locally and offshore. Fast-paced environments don’t faze you, in fact, you thrive in them. You’re the kind of person who takes pride in being part of a team, delivers high standards, and can spot a detail out of place from a mile away. You juggle tasks like a pro, communicate like a champ, and have an excellent grasp of global logistics and business. And let’s not forget your computer skills especially Excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES +

  • Manage the sample room and structure workloads to deliver ranges on time and in strict accordance with the Critical Path.
  • Ensure that the design team’s Critical Path provides scope to integrate with other key departments (production, sales, and marketing) at the start of any range timeline.
  • In accordance with the individual and departmental critical paths, ensure that your colleagues and team members can deliver finished design work for all ranges on time.
  • Manage and mentor the performance of everyone within the team.
  • Price negotiation.
  • Oversee the entry and accuracy of the Design Master Line sheets.
  • Production Pattern management.
  • Bulk fabric imports planning for new seasons.
  • Liaison with suppliers on fabrics, sample, and bulk orders including negotiation of prices and deliveries.
  • Produce, plan, and execute production of seasonal collections and recuts.
  • Deal effectively with manufacturing partners to ensure quality and lead time KPIs are met.
  • Identification, sourcing, and management of new and existing suppliers.
  • Gaining an understanding of all manufacturers’ capacity and capabilities to allocate work to the most suitable manufacturer.
  • Authorize and send all supplier purchase orders, ensuring all information is correct and accurate.
  • Raise and create production packs (fabric and trims).
  • Order greige for bulk, trims, accessories, linings.
  • Ensure PP approvals are completed in a timely manner to avoid bulk delivery delays.
  • Ability to forward plan to avoid delays.
  • Ability to problem-solve independently.
  • Consolidation of orders to avoid unnecessary additional costs.
  • Cost management.
