I’m looking for a highly analytical and detail-driven Planner to support my clients merchandise planning function across reporting, forecasting, allocation, and operations. This role is pivotal in driving commercial performance by enabling smarter inventory decisions and helping shape future buying strategies.

You thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and love the challenge of making data-driven decisions that move the needle. You’re just as comfortable deep in Excel as you are collaborating with cross-functional teams, and you take pride in your ability to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll be a excel, JOOR, AP21 and centric whiz.

RESPONSIBILITIES +

  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, seasonal, and annual reports to deliver insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct pre-market analysis to support seasonal buy planning.
  • Perform post-seasonal and promotional performance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate replenishment models and ensure core styles are optimally stocked.
  • Lead best sellers reporting in alignment with launch cadences.
  • Liaise with Wholesale and DTC teams to share trade insights and inform planning decisions.
  • Deliver ad hoc reports as required to support business goals.
  • Develop and execute allocation strategies to drive sales and ensure healthy stock levels across all channels (store + online).
  • Analyse and respond to location-based allocation trends to maintain ideal size and stock profiles.
  • Ensure timely and accurate product distribution by location and channel.
  • Contribute to range architecture, tailored assortments, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) requirements.
  • Monitor product performance and initiate changes to maximise sell-through.
  • Recommend promotions and reorders based on performance and trends.
  • Forecast fabric and trim requirements, supporting timely commitments and identifying lifecycle opportunities.
  • Support warehouse ordering and packaging forecasts.
  • Assist the Senior Merchandiser with assortment planning for key markets and DTC regions.
  • Plan allocations for DTC retail spaces, including planograms.
  • Act as the key data validation champion across CENTRIC, JOOR, and AP21.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment between sales, DTC, and production to maintain on-time critical path delivery.

REQUIREMENTS +

  • WSSI experience
  • Works well under pressure and manages workload.
  • Communicates well under pressure.
  • Has an excellent understanding of retail math and Excel
  • Proven experience in merchandise planning, forecasting, or buying analysis.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with planning tools (e.g., AP21, Centric) is a plus.
