Our client, a fast-growing fashion brand, is looking for a commercially minded Fashion Designer to join their collaborative Product team. This is a hands-on role where your designs directly shape the product range and what ends up in customers' wardrobes.

You'll design and develop trend-led womenswear that reflects the brand's creative direction and commercial goals. Using trend forecasting, market research and bestseller insights, you'll create exclusive, on-brand product that sells and stays fashion-forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Design quarterly womenswear collections from concept through to sampling
- Develop product inspired by bestsellers, customer insights and emerging trends
- Research global trends in colour, fabric, print and market direction
- Build mood boards, concepts and design presentations for seasonal direction
- Create technical specs and manage handover with the Product team
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers on costing, fabrics and development
- Lead weekly fittings with detailed feedback on fit, quality and construction
- Run sample reviews and quality checks before production approval
- Partner with Buying, Creative and Marketing to deliver balanced, on-brand ranges
- Track competitors and market activity to spot new opportunities
- Contribute to swimwear and special collections
REQUIREMENTS +
- 3+ years in Fashion Design or Product Development
- Fast fashion experience (essential)
- Qualification in Fashion Design, Buying or a related field
- Strong Adobe Illustrator skills (Photoshop a bonus)
- Solid knowledge of garment design, construction and sampling
- Proven ability to turn trends into commercial product
- Supplier and manufacturer experience, with strong costing and negotiation skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Comfortable juggling multiple styles, deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative approach across Buying, Product, Creative and Technical teams
