The Role
As Fashion Designer, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing new styles that reflect the brand’s creative direction, customer and commercial objectives.
You’ll combine trend forecasting and market research with sales and best-seller insights to create exclusive, on-brand product that is both commercially successful and fashion-forward.
You’ll take ownership across the design process, from mood boards and initial concepts through to technical specifications, sampling, fittings and final product approval.

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Design and develop trend-led womenswear collections from concept through to sampling
- Create quarterly collections of exclusive styles across the brand portfolio
- Develop product inspired by bestsellers, customer insights and emerging trends
- Research global fashion trends, colour, fabric, print and market direction
- Create mood boards, concepts and design presentations to communicate seasonal direction
- Develop technical specifications and work closely with the Product team on handover
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers on costing, fabrics, materials and development
- Attend weekly fittings and provide detailed feedback on fit, quality and construction
- Conduct sample reviews and quality checks prior to production approval
- Collaborate with Buying to finalise ranges and ensure a balanced product offer
- Work closely with Creative and Marketing teams to ensure collections align with brand direction
- Monitor competitors and market activity to identify new product opportunities
- Contribute to swimwear and special collection development
- Attend trade shows, events and inspiration trips to stay ahead of trends
REQUIREMENTS +
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar Fashion Design or Product Development role
- Fast fashion experience is essential
- Fashion Design, Buying or related qualification
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator and ideally Photoshop
- Strong understanding of garment design, construction and sampling
- Commercial and forward-thinking approach to trend forecasting
- Ability to translate trends and market insights into commercially relevant product
- Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers throughout development
- Strong costing, negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines
- High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work across Buying, Product, Creative and Technical teams
