About the Role
As Warehouse Supervisor, you'll oversee and manage our client's warehouse operations. They're looking for someone with strong leadership abilities, excellent organisational skills, and a proven track record of optimising warehouse processes for efficiency, accuracy and customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating the receiving, storage, distribution and maintenance of stock, while leading and developing the warehouse team to meet performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Develop and implement plans to optimise warehouse operations and meet company objectives
- Provide strong leadership to the warehouse team, fostering accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping
- Manage inventory control measures to maintain accurate stock levels, minimise stockouts and reduce excess inventory
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Maintain high standards of quality control across order fulfilment and shipping
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including carriers and logistics providers
- Oversee KPIs to measure and monitor warehouse performance, adjusting as needed to meet targets
- Provide training and development opportunities for warehouse staff
- Maintain open communication with management and other departments
- Work closely with customer service to ensure timely, accurate order fulfilment and resolve customer issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws and company policies
REQUIREMENTS +
- Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software
- Knowledge of logistics, supply chain management and inventory control
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
