SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER | FOOTWEAR & ACCESSORIES


We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Specialist to join a well-established Australian footwear brand with a growing global audience.

This is a hands-on role for someone who gets social, knows good content when they see it and isn’t afraid to get involved and make things happen.

You’ll be responsible for bringing the brand to life across social, from shaping the content calendar and spotting the next opportunity, to getting behind the camera and creating the content yourself.

You’ll work closely with the marketing teams in Australia and London, as well as creators, agencies and external partners.

This is a chance to take ownership of a global social presence within an established Australian brand, while working across a mix of content, social, influencer, and brand activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES +

  • Social & Content Own the global social channels and content calendar, keeping everything relevant, engaging and on-brand
  • Content Creation Come up with ideas, film, edit and publish short-form content. You’ll be involved from the initial concept right through to seeing it live.
  • Paid + Organic Work closely with the performance media agency to make sure paid and organic social work together to build awareness, drive traffic and support online sales.
  • Influencer + UGC Manage influencer, UGC and product seeding activity, working closely with the Europe Communications Manager.
  • PR + Brand Help bring the PR strategy to life across ANZ, from events and activations to finding the right media and cultural moments for the brand.
  • Performance Keep an eye on the numbers, understand what’s working and use those insights to make the content and strategy better.

REQUIREMENTS +

You’ll have experience managing social channels and creating content, ideally with exposure to influencer, UGC or PR partnerships. More importantly, you’ll be someone who:

  • Actually loves social media and knows what’s happening online
  • Has a strong creative eye and knows what makes good content
  • Can confidently film, edit and produce short-form content
  • Understands the relationship between social, paid media, PR and commercial results
  • Has a natural feel for trends — and knows which ones are actually worth jumping on
  • Is comfortable building relationships with creators, agencies and internal teams
  • Can take an idea from “what if we…” to actually making it happen
  • Is happy to get stuck in and do things yourself
  • Is organised, proactive and comfortable juggling multiple projects
  • Enjoys working as part of a busy, collaborative team
