BUYER/PRODUCT DEVELOPER | WOMENSWEAR

Sydney | Full-Time

We’ve partnered with a growing Australian fashion brand to recruit an experienced Buyer / Product Developer to join their team.

This is not your traditional buying role. It’s an opportunity for someone who loves product from concept through to customer, combining strong commercial buying skills with hands-on product development expertise.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, Planning, Creative, and offshore suppliers to build collections that are trend-led, commercially strong, and genuinely designed with the customer in mind.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Take genuine ownership of the product lifecycle from concept to launch

  • Join a growing Australian fashion business with exciting plans ahead

  • Work closely with senior leadership and have a real voice in product strategy

  • Opportunity to influence fit, fabrication, sourcing, and range direction

  • Collaborative team environment where ideas and initiative are encouraged

  • Play a key role in developing product customers genuinely want to wear

The Role

As Buyer / Product Developer, you’ll own the end-to-end development of womenswear collections — from identifying trends and building ranges through to sourcing, sampling, fittings, production, and in-season performance.

You’ll combine a strong commercial eye with technical product knowledge, ensuring every style delivers on design, fit, quality, margin, and customer appeal.

A strong understanding of fit across a broad size range is particularly important, with experience developing product for size 16+ and curve customers highly regarded.
