We’ve partnered with a growing retailer to recruit a Product Manager to join their product team.
This is a true Buyer / Product Developer role, ideal for someone who loves owning a category from concept through to customer. You'll take full responsibility for product development, supplier management, range building, and in-season trading, ensuring every product delivers commercially and resonates with the customer.

The Role
As Product Manager, you'll manage the full product lifecycle from initial concept and range planning through to supplier negotiations, product development, launch, and in-season trading.
This role requires someone equally comfortable developing product and analysing performance. You'll have a strong understanding of what customers want, how to build commercially successful ranges, and how to trade them effectively once they're in market.

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Own a product category from concept through to launch and trading
- Develop commercially successful ranges aligned to customer demand and business objectives
- Manage end-to-end product development, including supplier communication, sampling, costing, and critical path management
- Negotiate cost prices, MOQs, and delivery schedules with offshore suppliers
- Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities to maximise revenue and margin
- Drive repeat buys, markdown decisions, and in-season trading strategies
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform future ranges
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Marketing, eCommerce, and Operations teams
REQUIREMENTS +
- 3+ year's experience managing a category end-to-end within Buying, Product Development, or Product Management
- Proven ability to develop and trade product successfully
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
- Experience managing product development from concept through to production
- Commercially minded with strong analytical capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
