Before You Set Goals for 2026, Pause

Not everything needs fixing. Some things just need clarity.

January Doesn’t Have to Mean:

  • New job

  • New title

  • New pressure

Sometimes it means:

  • Less noise

  • Fewer obligations

  • Clearer boundaries

Progress can be quiet.

Ask Yourself This (No Rushing)

In my career, what gave me energy last year?
What drained it?
What felt “successful” but wasn’t sustainable?

For 2026, I Want:

More of:

  • Work that challenges me

  • Managers who communicate clearly

  • Space to do my best thinking

Less of:

  • Constant urgency

  • Unclear expectations

  • Saying yes by default

Clarity beats resolutions.

Intentions Aren’t About Doing More.

They’re about deciding what you’re no longer available for.
