The Role
Our client is looking for a Head Pattern maker to join the team. They are needing you to have used or be using STYLE CAD. You will create and implement new and existing patterns. You will create all garment specifications, Prepare and create pattern, grading, prepare mini maker, prepare make instruction sheet with full complete Bill of Materials. Manage the task allocation/workflow for machinists, cutters and freelancers/contractors to ensure product is deliver on time and within costings. Management of Studio Action Plan across Pattern Makers, Cutters and Machinists to ensure on time delivery of product to customers and raw materials from suppliers Collaborate with the Production Manager to maintain the Production Tracker via providing regular updates on action plan and studio progress against orders and deliveries Prepare and manage the production critical path from placing orders with suppliers, raising customer orders and sampling process through to delivery.
About You
With a minimum of 10 years’ experience in patternmaking and grading you will lead the studio team with creativity and teamwork. You will influence and maintain relationships with external partners, acting as a representative within the industry.
