You’ll lead a talented team of Buyers, Designers, and Production Managers while personally trading a key category, staying connected to the product, the market, and our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES +

You will: Product Strategy & Brand Elevation

  • Own and drive the end-to-end product strategy across Buying, Design, Production, and Logistics.
  • Translate customer insights, brand strategy, and market trends into commercially powerful and trend-led product ranges.
  • Shape long-term assortment, pricing, and margin strategies to deliver profitable growth and brand differentiation.

Buying & Design Leadership

  • Personally buy and trade a key category, owning performance, margin, and sell-through outcomes.
  • Set seasonal product direction and approve option frameworks, balancing core, new, and emerging trends.
  • Guide and mentor the Design team to align creative direction with commercial strategy and customer preferences.

Production & Supplier Management

  • Lead supplier relationships and the production strategy to ensure high-quality products delivered on time.
  • Drive supplier performance, risk mitigation, and operational improvements across the supply chain.
  • Oversee inbound logistics to maintain efficient, reliable flow of goods supporting launch plans.

Planning & Commercial Partnership

  • Partner with Planning to ensure category buys reflect budgets, margins, phasing, and regional objectives.
  • Implement trade strategies to repeat high-performing products and exit underperformers efficiently.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product performance is linked to financial outcomes and marketing campaigns.

Sustainability & Innovation

  • Embed sustainable sourcing and responsible practices across all product decisions.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for fabric, packaging, or process innovations.
  • Deliver measurable increases in sustainable product usage year-on-year.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Grow and lead a high-performing Product team, fostering creativity, accountability, and collaboration. Develop talent pathways, mentor future leaders, and build commercial capabilities across the team. Champion a culture of customer obsession, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS +

  • Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • 6–10 years’ buying experience in fashion retail or wholesale with proven results in sales, margin, and sell-through.
  • Strong trend radar and ability to translate insights into compelling products.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders, with highly developed negotiation skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication, relationships building skills and clear customer focus
