The Opportunity
As Designer, you’ll work closely with the Design Directors and Head of Design to bring seasonal collections to life. This role is pivotal in translating creative vision into cohesive ranges that capture both commercial appeal and innovative design. From concept research to final samples, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team that is shaping the future of Australian fashion on the world stage.
What You’ll Do
Research seasonal concepts, colour direction, silhouettes, and new techniques
Drive the design process from sketch to sample across ready-to-wear, eveningwear, bridal, tailoring, knitwear, retail exclusives, and accessories
Develop hand sketches, Photoshop illustrations, and maintain range boards
Partner with product developers, patternmakers, and the accessories team to ensure accurate execution
Support print and textile development, fit sessions, and styling for the collection
Contribute to photoshoot preparation, merchandising, and styling direction
Build a library of references and techniques to inspire design innovation
What We’re Looking For
A degree or diploma in Fashion Design (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar womenswear design role
Strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills with an impeccable eye for detail
Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
A balance of creativity and commercial awareness, with a genuine passion for design
