We have partnered with a gorgeous Global Fashion Sales Agency based in the heart of Melbourne, and they are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join the team, and manage key accounts across Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Founder and working closely with the Agency team, the Key Account Manager will drive wholesale strategy and operations across Australia and New Zealand. With a focus on expanding key account networks and increasing seasonal sales, this role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution. You will use data-driven insights to guide business decisions, identify growth opportunities, and implement effective sales strategies. A key part of the role involves nurturing existing brand and retail relationships, while seeking new partnerships to maximise sales potential and ensure each collection aligns with brand goals and market needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Brand & Stakeholder Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for brands and retailers, nurturing strong relationships, aligning brand identity, and providing ongoing support and market insights.
- Wholesale Strategy & Business Development: Develop and execute short- and long-term wholesale strategies tailored to each brand, identify key markets for growth, and build global distribution plans.
- Sales Planning & Market Analysis: Lead forecasting and budgeting with a growth focus, research sales markets, and provide strategic recommendations through regular reporting and performance analysis.
- Retail & Marketing Support: Collaborate with brand marketing teams to drive sell-through, schedule in-store training, and ensure brand consistency across all retail touchpoints.
- Operational & Logistics Coordination: Oversee delivery timelines, manage shipment discrepancies, ensure seasonal assets are prepared, and maintain the agency’s global sales critical path.
- Reporting & Showroom Management: Produce weekly, seasonal, and end-of-season reports, manage brand databases, support global showroom setup, and report to the Founder as required.
REQUIREMENTS +
- Proven Experience in Wholesale or Account Management: Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in a similar role within the fashion or lifestyle industry, ideally managing key accounts across Australia and New Zealand.
- Strong Commercial Acumen: Confident in making data-led decisions, identifying sales opportunities, and executing strategies that support seasonal targets and long-term business growth.
- Collaborative and Proactive Attitude: Comfortable working within a small, close-knit team, contributing ideas, and leveraging the knowledge and strengths of others to drive collective success.
- Leadership & Mentorship Skills: Experience mentoring junior team members, with the ability to support and work closely with the Director in a senior capacity.
- Highly Organised with Strong Communication Skills: Able to manage multiple priorities, showroom activity, and client relationships with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail.
- Adaptable and Quick-Thinking: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident making informed decisions that positively impact both internal and external stakeholders.
