CREATIVE PRODUCT DEVELOPER | CONTEMPORARY WOMENSWEAR
About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Developer to join our passionate team. This role is key to bringing thoughtful, high-quality contemporary clothing from concept to final product. The ideal candidate has a strong background in fashion design and development, excellent technical knowledge of garment construction, and a deep appreciation for luxury craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Design team to develop seasonal collections from initial concept through to production-ready samples.
Manage the development calendar, ensuring timely execution of each phase from proto sampling to final approvals.
Source produced fabrics, trims, and raw materials aligned with brand values.
Communicate daily with international and domestic suppliers, artisans, and production partners to ensure accuracy and maintain timelines.
Translate design sketches into detailed tech packs, BOMs, and specifications for factories and artisans.
Conduct fit sessions and work with technical designers to ensure garments meet quality, fit, and construction standards.
Track sample progress, costs, and vendor performance to ensure margin goals are met.
Support QC processes by reviewing samples and collaborating with production on resolving any issues.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in product development or production within the fashion industry in womenswear.
Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric behaviour, and textile processes.
Excellent communication skills and experience working with overseas manufacturers and artisan collectives.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and PLM systems.
Passion for high end luxury, and handcrafted techniques.
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience working with luxury contemporary fashion
Techs and CADs
Knowledge of sustainable sourcing and environmental compliance standards.
