Australian fashion and accessories label with Global reach is seeking an experienced  Operations Manager. Working alongside the General Manager and CFO, your overarching responsibility will be to support the business through growth phase by developing and executing strategic initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiency. This position will broadly oversee the end-to-end operations of Product & Design, Production, Sales,  Supply Chain and Warehouse to assist with optimising business processes and overall functionality.

You will collaborate with each Department Manager and have overall responsibility for creating and overseeing efficiencies , budgets and KPI’s for each department. You will play a key role in creating synergies with each department to achieve the goals of business, through inspiring, and positive leadership with an authentic people centric approach.

Strong financial and commercial business acumen alongside extensive global fashion industry experience are essential to be considered for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES +

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiency
  • Oversee the Supply Chain function including assessment of sourcing risks and risk mitigation
  • Assist and Support Supply Chain Manager in the Management of the Warehouse and operational efficiency
  • Contribute to the Sustainability objectives via Supply Chain
  • Work with all Department Managers and have overall responsibility for creating and overseeing budgets and operational efficiencies for each department
  • Create detailed reports for GM & CFO
  • Manage & review operating procedures, systems and tools across the business
  • Forecast staffing, workload and performance results to meet business goals
  • Analyse data to make informed business decisions and identify growth opportunities
  • Assist with developing finance organisational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organisational objectives
  • Identify and implement processes/ best practices Establish and implement KPIs across all areas of responsibility
  • Identify and execute on cost saving initiatives while maintaining quality output and company values
  • Maintain strong communication across the organization across all levels

REQUIREMENTS +

  • Ideally 10 + yrs experience in a similar role within an international fashion brand
  • Business qualifications at degree level
  • Demonstrated stakeholder and strategic management experience
  • Strong financial and commercial business acumen with excellent negotiation skills
  • Detail oriented with an analytical approach
  • Results driven with a pro-active can-do attitude
  • Previous experience in ensuring IT compliance and overall systems integration highly regarded
  • Good understanding of retail/wholesale focused Chart of Accounts
  • Experience within a local/international fashion brand with online experience
  • Experience supporting a businesses through a growth phase
