About the role
Reporting directly to the Country Director, this position is responsible for the supervision and management of goods from port of destination, through the distribution centre, to point of delivery for Australia and New Zealand. Working with Sales, Planning and Finance teams this position is a hands-on role, responsible to manage and drive the entire supply chain for all our brands in Australia and New Zealand.
As the Logistics Manager you will maintain overall responsibility for the development and execution of strategic distribution and warehousing objectives required to meet lead time goals, cost per unit and to support different business units.
About You
To excel in this role, you must possess a comprehensive understanding of logistics systems and processes, coupled with a track record of success in inventory and supply management. Your ability to lead process improvements and identify bottleneck areas will be critical, along with your knack for analyzing trends and implementing solutions. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining supplier relationships. You should demonstrate proficiency in creating operational budgets, tracking KPIs, and generating reports to evaluate performance. Your leadership qualities will shine through as you set objectives, empower team members, and review performance to drive continuous improvement. Ultimately, your passion for logistics excellence and commitment to service will contribute to the success of our supply chain operations. Previous experience in a related industry is a plus!
