One of our wonderful clients SUBOO are hiring a detail-driven Garment Tech / Fit Technician to partner with their Designer from concept to customer. You will steer samples through clear, fast approvals while elevating make standards, engineering great fit, and ensuring on-time delivery.

What you will do

  • Co-lead fit sessions with the Designer and fit model. Capture precise fit notes, translate into pattern corrections, update specs, and drive approvals across proto, SMS, PP, and TOP.

  • Own tech packs end to end. Create graded measurement charts, tolerances, construction pages and BOMs,

  • Refine blocks with pattern makers and factories. Solve construction challenges quickly while preserving design intent.

  • Improve yield and cost through construction choices and finishing techniques that maintain quality.

  • Manage the sample pipeline across proto, SMS, ecom, and lookbook. Ensure garments arrive shoot-ready and photo-perfect.

  • Set and maintain quality checkpoints. Inline inspections, pre-shipment QC with clear pass or rework criteria.

  • Keep the critical path accurate. Flag risks early, close loops with vendors, and keep stakeholders aligned.

  • Maintain a living library of blocks, trims, standards, testing results, and approved construction details.

  • Feed improvement back into design. Analyse returns and defect data to lift make and reduce rework.

What you bring

  • 4+ years in Product Development, Garment Tech, or Fit Tech within contemporary womenswear. Dresses and occasion expertise highly regarded.

  • Expert eye for balance, drape, and proportion across sizes. Confident directing pattern and construction adjustments.

  • Advanced knowledge of specs, grading logic, tolerances, seam allowances, finishing, and quality standards.

  • Proven experience across wovens and stretch. Comfortable with delicate trims, boning, fusing, and specialty finishes.

  • Strong vendor communication. Concise written comments and rapid follow-through.

  • Tools: Adobe Illustrator for callouts, Excel for specs, PLM or Airtable-style workflows for version control.

  • Good to have: CIN7, Shopify

Salary and start

Competitive part-time package based on experience. Immediate start preferred.
