You will be joining a leading label in their field, who have a successful wholesale business both locally and internationally. You will be highly organized, results driven, adheres to deadlines, strives for the highest quality standards for the brand and enjoy working within a fast paced, focused environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES +

  • Ranging, sourcing & developing the monthly range of the womenswear collection
  • Sourcing products from local and overseas suppliers and conducting seasonal buys
  • Liaising with external suppliers, factories and agents to develop and produce the product at the best possible price
  • Product analysis
  • Maximising sales including reordering bestsellers and maintaining stock of key lines
  • In conjunction with the Buying Manager and Merchandise Planning Manager, setting seasonal class sales and spend budgets
  • Analysing class and style performance on a seasonal basis
  • Competitor analysis
  • Research and identify key trends, key items, colour and styling for the
  • Undertaking overseas buying and sourcing trips and/or factory visits as required

REQUIREMENTS +

  • Previous Buying experience in Womenswear
  • Must be strongly analytical, numerate and accurate
  • Excellent communication skills with people at all levels
  • Ability to prioritize and possess good time management skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
