RESPONSIBILITIES +
- Source and develop ranges in line with company targets
- Increase growth of department sales
- Negotiation with suppliers and manufacturers to achieve best price
- Appropriately spend OTB each month, in line with openings and closing targets
- Line forecasting for each season and development of the range plan
- Daily sales and reporting analysis
- Monitor all deliverables, to ensure that stock is received on time and in correct quantities
- Customer research and trend analysis on the market and competitors
REQUIREMENTS +
- 5 years experience in a buying capacity at a high level
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to actively search out the newest products and trends
- Highly organised with advanced time management
- Ability to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it
- Ability to negotiate to deliver required margins at the right retail price
- Being quick to the market with new lines and trends
- Ability to analyse sales trends and build on those trends
- Extremely great work ethic and willingness to put in the long hours to get something done
