Our client is recognised as one of the largest Fashion Accessories Importers in Australia. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic senior Account Manager to manage a portfolio of major accounts, including some of Australia’s largest fashion retail businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with your clients to range on trend commercial product relevant for their business.
  • Identify and approach potential clients
  • With the help of your support team, you will oversee the full cycle of your customer’s orders from placement to approval to delivery.
  • The Senior Account Manager is responsible for achieving an assigned sales and profitability goal each season and set KPI’s.
  • When selling to vendor managed accounts you will be responsible for managing   sales budgets, OTB, closing stocks and markdowns.
  • Proactively manages customers’ satisfaction and delivery by anticipating potential problems, and monitoring satisfaction.
  • Strategic relationship management with clients
  • Provide mentoring to Junior assistant(s)


Skills and Experience Required

  • You will need a comprehensive and commercial understanding of local and overseas fashion markets.
  • Highly Commercial and Analytical Business acumen.
  • You’re able to analyse sales tracking and make recommendations to your customers regarding possible re orders or actioning slow selling merchandise
  • Demonstrated successful wholesale or retail buying experience in the fashion accessories industry is essential.
  • Domestic and international travel experience is required for buying trips, customer visits and possible supplier visits.
  • High level computer skills needed include Excel, Office, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • CAD and design skills to develop product.
  • Effective written and verbal communication with customers, internal staff and suppliers.
  • Highly organised, efficient and capable of multi-tasking
  • You’re a problem solver with a “make it happen” attitude
