FASHION: NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – FEARLESS, FASHIONABLE AND FUN (SYD)

Our client is at the forefront of accessories; delivering internationally in over 30 countries worldwide. With every intention to continue their exponential growth they now seek a national account manager to join their team and continue driving business sales with major retail accounts.

This versatile role will see you report to the GM of Sales. It requires YOU to utilise initiative and quality negotiation skills to devise and execute the sales strategies, including both existing and new accounts.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Contribute to and execute the Domestic Sales Strategy as agreed with the GM of Sales, to achieve short and long-term sales and business objectives.
  • Direct National sales activities across accounts and geographic territories to deliver on customer service standards and sales targets.
  • Engage with the sales team to develop sales plans and strategies.
  • Oversee National Sales, promotions, collections and other activities to achieve sales targets.
  • Coordinate the National Sales Team day to day to achieve set sales targets and ensure business goals are met in a timely and urgent manner.
  • Responsible for the achievement of the National Sales budget.
  • In conjunction with GM of Sales, maintain sales management reporting tools to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage National Sales team day to day to achieve sales objectives.
  • Motivate and guide the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor and drive the day to day performance of sales team.
  • Establish lines of control and delegate responsibilities to direct reports.
  • Work collaboratively with the GM of Sales on sales team development plans.

 

The skills and experience we require;

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience across B2B or B2C, and in a National Account Manager position
  • Experience in the Fashion environment – you must have a good understanding of the retail landscape
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft office, including Excel for the management of sales data and reporting
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent admin and number crunching skills
