Working collaboratively with your Design Team and the Creative Director, you will develop monthly global collections based on current trends – translating the vision and aesthetic of the brand into aspirational yet practical product that resonates with our wholesale and retail customers.


You will ensure that you adhere to the production timeline, managing the workflow of your Design Team to meet all milestones and stage gates, whilst being adaptable to changing circumstances and overcoming any problems that arise.  You will be supported by our Retail Team, Sales Teams and Design Support to analyse and interpret wholesale and retail feedback and reports to adapt monthly ranges and product with thorough consideration.


This role is available 1 – 3 days per week and you can work remotely!!


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Researching, trend forecasting and mood board creation;
  • Concepting each monthly range in line with brand’s voice and cohesive to prior / future collections;
  • Inserting monthly range inspo into PDRP to communicate with Sales Teams and gain feedback;
  • Creating and producing designs by hand or using CAD;
  • Handing over initial sketches to Design Team to translate into CAD sketches and communicate design details via design spec;
  • Supporting your Design Team to develop and update CAD’s and design specs as changes are made to designs throughout the development process;
  • Handing over of all styles to your Design Team to complete tech packs with accurate translations of the intended designs;
  • Cross checking style numbers against range plan throughout development process, and signing off with Creative Director and Design Support;
  • Developing print and colour selections for each monthly range and style – signing off with Design Support and Creative Director;
  • Presenting monthly range to Creative Director and Design Support at all key Stage Gates – seeking direction, feedback and working together to optimise the range


Candidates will require:


  • Relevant tertiary qualification in fashion design and technology.
  • Minimum 5 years design experience including concept and range building.
  • International experience is a plus; focus on growing a brand into Europe, Asia and USA.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience and knowledge in womenswear design
  • Proven skills in team leadership.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Must have initiative, can juggle multiple tasks to meet deadlines and will work calmly in a fast-paced, creatively driven team environment.
